Description
The jack pad provides an interface at the vehicle’s designated lifting point. This lifting jack pad is suitable for selected BMW E90, E87, F07, F10 and F34 models. A missing or crushed pad leaves the lift contact poorly supported. Replacing it helps workshop equipment contact the intended point when used with a suitable lifting adapter.
Look out for the following symptoms:
- A missing lifting block underneath the sill.
- Cracks or crushing around the lifting support.
- A loose pad that no longer stays in position.
Inspect the sill lifting area for damage. Use approved lifting points and properly rated stands rather than relying on the pad alone for support.
