Description
This Xenon headlight ballast is suitable for selected BMW E70, E92, E63, E64 and E83 models. It provides the electrical control needed for a discharge headlight to operate. A lamp that flickers or goes dark can have a module fault but power supply and bulb condition should be checked too. Replacement addresses a confirmed ballast failure.
Lighting repairs should address the enclosure as well as the electrical part. A sound seal helps protect connectors and modules from repeated water exposure.
Look out for the following symptoms:
- Lighting faults linked to the ballast or power supply.
- A Xenon headlight that flickers or switches off.
- One headlight staying dark with a working bulb.
Inspect the headlight seals and wiring. Correct moisture entry before fitting the replacement and use appropriate precautions for the Xenon electrical system.
