Description
A large saloon depends on firm suspension connections for stable braking and predictable steering. This front left lower control arm is suitable for selected BMW 7 Series G11 models. Wear can let the wheel shift slightly as loads change. Replacing the arm helps restore controlled wheel guidance without altering the vehicle’s original ride-height arrangement.
Assess protective boots and rubber connections alongside the arm. Torn protection can admit water and dirt while ageing bushes may affect more than one suspension link. Replace loose components first so the wheels can hold their intended position during driving.
Look out for the following symptoms:
- Wandering steering or uneven tyre wear.
- Cracked bushes or movement in a suspension joint.
- Clunking as the wheel crosses bumps.
Inspect the adjacent links and right lower arm. Have alignment assessed once the locating joints and bushes are sound.
