Description
The front right lower arm on G30 and G31 models helps hold the wheel in position as the body moves. This front right lower control arm is suitable for selected BMW 5 Series G30 and 5 Series G31 models. Worn bushes or joints can allow load-related movement that becomes noticeable during braking. This replacement addresses the locating arm so the suspension geometry can remain more consistent through its travel.
Correct alignment supports even tyre contact after the repair. Replacing worn locating parts first gives the adjustment a stable foundation under normal road loads. Assess protective boots and rubber connections alongside the arm. Torn protection can admit water and dirt while ageing bushes may affect more than one suspension link.
Possible signs of wear or failure include:
- Clunking as the wheel crosses bumps.
- Wandering steering or uneven tyre wear.
- Cracked bushes or movement in a suspension joint.
Inspect the opposite lower arm and nearby bushes. Arrange alignment after repairs and verify that other joints are free of play.
