Description
The Frey auto Auxiliary water pump designed specifically for Mercedes-Benz (B-Class) W205, (S-class) W222, (E-Class) W213, (ML-Class) W166, (GLC-Class) X253, (GLA-Class) X156, W176 models with M270, M274, M276, M264, OM651 OM642 and OM654 engines. It is an electric coolant pump used to enhance coolant circulation independently of the engine’s primary water pump. It helps with cabin heating at low engine speeds or after engine shutoff (especially in vehicles with residual heat function), turbocharger cooling, battery thermal management in hybrid or mild-hybrid models and overall engine thermal efficiency.
Crafted with a durable plastic composite pump housing with an internal electric motor, high-grade rubber seals and two coolant hose fittings and a 2- or 3-pin electrical connector. It operates independently of the engine RPM, contolled by the engine control module also known as the ECU or the climate control unit providing silent and efficient operation.
Engineered with precision to meet OEM standards as this product is ISO9001 certified.
